This is the language I speak

There is a big disconnect between me and some of my friends. As much as I talk to them about what I do all day long and what I intend to do in the future, they have no idea what I am talking about.

It seems that the language of social media has not yet transcended into the language of the friends of Lana Hirschowitz.

Concepts like hashtags and status updates, liking and sharing posts, Twitter and Instagram seem like Greek to them but like music to me. So this video from my BFF Kerri Sackville (one of my real life friends that REALLY gets social media) and her cohorts Allison Tait and Valerie Khoo has become like my favourite song.

I am going to use it as an educational tool.
Typical first-line treatment of erectile dysfunction involves PDE-5 inhibitors, including the well-known drug sildenafil citrate generic cialis . These cells can be readily isolated, enriched and infused back at the patient’s viagra super active http://www.learningworksca.org/item-5337 body, allowing targeted delivery at the site of injury. There is dispute in the field whether OCD is an sildenafil 25mg anxiety disorder. 1. I am totally PSML at the still of Al You tube chose as the ‘cover’ image!

  2. As a grey-haired, middle-aged, totally uncool person, I love that I like totally understood it

    How cool am I?

  3. I told you we was sistas Lana!!

This is my life. I have a handful of divine IRL friends. Who. NEVER. Read. My Blogs. Who NEVER like me on FB but still get on there often enough to know what I’ve been up to (aka “stalkers”!) Who NEVER give a rats about whether I am seeing a client, speaking anywhere, or maybe even more accurately, DO give a rats, but NEVER ask me how it all went or how I’m coping with the stress of juggling it all alone!

I wrote a blog the other day – one which I’m VERY proud of. Notice how I’m yelling certain words here? Ever get the feeling that I’m feeling quite passionate about this very topic?. Well, you’d be RIGHT! It was one of my best yet (even if I say so myself) i.e. The one that got the most FB comments and likes, and even ‘replies’ on the actual blog (a rarity for followers of my blogs) Yaaayy!

Why does this mean so much to me? Because what I write about is from my heart – especially my last post. I still have to write about things like fashion etc (which really aren’t what I’m about, just quietly) but I do always try to skew the post to be for real people with real issues etc etc…

SO why am I venting here on you YOUR blog? Because you, dear Lana, GET ME! And many don’t! It seems you always write something that I just HAVE to read (lots of yelling here, I’m sorry) no matter how tired/sick I am. And that’s because what you write is from your heart and always seems to connect with me. SO THERE! Consider yourself “LIKED, FOLLOWED” and every other social media term there is.

OMG, LOL (lots of love this time, not laughing out loud), U ROCK!

    Big Al xx

    Hilarious.

  5. I spent about thirty minutes trying to explain hashtags to someone the other day – I was obviously very bad at it as they were no wiser at the end. Me though, I definitely #loveahashtag
